Alzheimer's Resource of Alaska

Alzheimer’s Resource of Alaska provides programs and services to hundreds of seniors and caregivers throughout Alaska.

Programs and services extend from Juneau to Utqiagvik and clients represent a diverse population. Because disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia affect all types of Alaskans, so do our programs and services.

Do you have questions or concerns about yourself or a loved one? Schedule an appointment to sit down in person, over the phone, or video conference with someone who can give you answers, additional information and guide you through the next steps. You are not alone!

Take classes, go to support groups, and find out what resources are available. We teach best practices in dementia care to anyone interested including family, professional care givers and those working in the field of dementia care.

Money for services and items are available for people with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia (ADRD) for the purpose of improving quality of life and increasing independent functioning.

Have help navigating the system. It can be difficult and overwhelming knowing what services are available and how to access them. Care Coordination services relieve some of that burden by guiding you through the maze of health care, financial and social services available in your community. This service is available in Anchorage, Juneau and Mat-Su.
