Bike Anchorage

Bike Anchorage has an Advocacy Committee that works to improve safety and accessibility of cycling within Anchorage. We teach people the rules of the road, skills to successfully ride in traffic, and how to drive around new bike infrastructure, we work to increase safetyfor all people on the roadways through community education. Finally, our encouragement program is focused on getting people to go by bike, especially those that are either new to biking or only occasionally go by bike, we try to provide incentives to get people on their bikes.
