Anchorage Concert Chorus

Arts/Culture

ACC’s existence in the Alaska community has been long and successful. Founded in 1947 by Lorene Harrison, the Chorus is a mainstay in Anchorage’s arts community. The chorus celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2022. The chorus is made up of a wide demographic of ages and backgrounds. From students to professional singers; people just starting in the chorus to people that have sung with the chorus for decades. The chorus is truly a melting pot of talent and a great source of entertainment for the local community. One of the season highlights each year is ACC's annual Holiday Pops performance at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts which typically draws over a 1000 concert goers.
